:yay::banana::cool1::dance3:ONE WEEK WIGGLE!!!:dance3::cool1::banana::yay:

One Week Countdown:

Since you cant really do a countdown of one thing, I've decided to list one thing a day for the next 7 seven days of the things I am most looking forward to...

#7: Staying at Coronado Springs!
images

This is our third attempt to stay at this resort. We booked it in 2009 (with a king bed b/c it was just my mom and I) but when my brother decided to join us, we had to switch to Port Orleans in order to get an extra bed. Then we booked it in 2010 but when I received the 40% off pin I decided to upgrade us to the Poly. So, here's to hoping the third time is a charm!

This is the only moderate resort I haven't stayed at. I put in a room request to be near the dining in the hopes that we won't have to walk to far for breakfast in the morning or a bus stop. I'm hoping to stay in the Casitas section just because I like the buildings. Though, the cabanas are nice with the hammocks and beach. But, this is what I'm most excited about:

The night view:

I'm also very excited to do some of my training for the Half marathon running around this:

So, what did you like best about a hotel you stayed at recently? Or, what are you most looking forward to at the hotel you're staying at this trip?:santa:

ONE WEEK!

Wow...lots to celebrate today. Here is a BIG :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: for all three things.

Thank You! It was definitely an exciting couple of days!

Congrats on finding a house!!

YAY!!! for online check in and your single digits!!

Thank you! Happy one week wiggle to you too!

:yay: :yay:   :cool1: :cool1:

Thank you! Happy one week wiggle to you too!

Ooooo, cha-cha's and boogie's -- LOVE IT! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

Yay!! Great news! Congratulations!!! :dance3: :dance3:

Thank You!

The thing I like best about staying at our most recent resort, which just happens to be the CSR (nine of the last ten stays) ;) is laying in a hammock and just enjoying the beauty of the resort and relaxing and forgetting all the troubles at home.

We are hoping to stay at AKL next October and I am looking forward to sitting on the balcony and watching the giraffes.

Congratulations on the house, how exciting for you. Also yay for leaving in less than a week. I missed the last countdown, the magical moments.

1. While I was in a not so magical mood my husband took my 2 older kids on the Carousel, and came rushing towards me afterwards pointing and talking to someone. Well apparantly they got on right when they were handing out magical fast passes. I can't remember what they called them, but they were for all the big rides at magic kingdom for that day, and they were kind enough to give me one as well even though I wasn't on the ride at the time.

2. My daughter, only 7 at the time was chosen to escort guests off of the rock n roller coaster ride. She got to wear a vest like the cast members, she loved it.

Congrats on the house.

It's wonderful that you will be going in a week! :dance3:

Hi! I'm still getting caught up on everyone's PTR's/TR's since I got back from my trip a few days ago (ps-I started my TR, come on over! :rotfl:) and I missed a lot!

Congrats on the house, that's fantastic!!!:banana::banana:

AND congrats on going to WDW in a week! I'm jealous and I just got back! :rotfl2: :cool1: :thumbsup2

To answer your question about what I liked most about POR...if I had to pick one thing, it would be how close it is to Epcot, but I also liked how beautiful and quiet it was! I would love to stay at CSR someday!

Mmm I've been stalking your CSR thread and after reading your post, I'm even more excited to stay here! Also, I think you'll love AKL, it's still probably one of my all time favorites (tied with Poly)! It just has a special different kind of magic to it.

Aww what special memories! I bet your daughter felt so special! I know I would have and I'm 24. :rotfl:

Congrats on the house.

Thank You! I'm a little behind on your PTR, have you set any definitive dates yet?

Welcome back! I stopped over to your TR the other night and I can't wait to read more! I enjoy the PO resorts as well for their quaintness but I'm very excited about trying CSR finally!

#6: Animal Kingdom at night
I can not wait to see this park at night. I think the Tree of Life and Expedition Everest are going to even more awesome lit up!

I stole these pictures from the internet...

From A Mom's Miserly Guide

How awesome do those look?

So what park do you like best in the dark?

Right now, I would say Hollywood Studios. I just love the lighting in that park at night.

Just wanted to let you know...

WE GOT THE HOUSE!!! :woohoo:

They accepted our offer and we get the keys on Jan. 30!!

Congrats on the house, that is so exciting!!

We have never been to CSR, Bill and I need to go over there one day just to see it.

We are looking forward to Animal Kingdom at night too, I think it will be amazing.

I think all the parks at night are amazing. I love the World Showcase at night, but as for my favorite, it has to be Magic Kingdom with the Christmas decorations and the Castle lights, it is so beautiful.

Love those pics! I think I used that EE one myself. I too am looking forward to AK at night.

I've yet to see the parks at Christmas time but think my favorite would have to be MK with the castle all lit up. A close second is DHS with the Osborne lights!

Ahhhhh, I can't wait!

Congrats on the house! No way I can keep up with one a day, but you are the only PTR I am even kind of keeping up on, so that's something, anyway!

My favorite thing about Pop...oh everything. HAHA. I can't even pick one thing. The food, the giant pieces of nostalgia, the music...

My favorite park at night...Epcot. I just think it's so beautiful.

Aw I just can't wait to see the parks with their Christmas lights! I'm sure I may have to reevaluate my favorites after this trip and seeing everything at Christmas time!:santa:

I can't wait to see the parks at night with their Christmas decorations! i'm sure the pictures don't do them justice and I know it'll be breathtaking!

Thank you! No worries about not keeping up every day. I barely keep up on my own thread once a day and everyone elses maybe every 2-3 days.. I'm just glad you're keeping up! I'm really enjoying writing and talking to everyone so it's nice to know I have readers at all!

I can't wait to try Pop one of these days! I always said I would pick it as my first choice next time we stayed at a value but ended up at Movies :confused3, So definitely next time! I think

We plan on visiting Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Poly, Wilderness Lodge, Yacht & Beach Club, and the Boardwalk to see their decorations!

So, I got some exciting news today! My brothers friend Chris (the Imagineer)has been in Florida working on the refurbishment/re-imagining of the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh attraction and he told me today that he'll be there at least through the 3rd! So, he'll be meeting up with us occasionally! It's so fun touring the parks with him because he has so much insider information! He said to be sure to visit Winnie the Pooh at the beginning and then again at the end of our trip because it would change throughout the week and become even better as the days go by! Only problem was my ADRs.. luckily I could change 2 of them for the exact place and time and then one I couldn't change was already for 3 people luckily! Not sure why I made it for 3 people but that was lucky! The only one I can't change is Crystal Palace our night of arrival... EVERYTHING is booked. But, he said it wasn't a big deal and he'd probably just meet us for the party anyway :thumbsup2 I'm so excited!!

Hi! Sorry I've been MIA...I hate when life gets in the way of the Dis ;)

Just wanted to pop in to say congrats on the house...that's awesome!

Have a safe trip down and I'll keep an eye out for you at the GF on Thursday for breakfast :goodvibes

Lots of exciting news! Congrats on the house!!! That's great that you'll be hanging out with an Imagineer. Such fun!

Wow that would be really neat -- like having your own private behind the scenes tour! I've heard Winnie the Pooh is fantastic after the refurb and I can't wait to see it! Glad you could fit him into most of your plans.

I'll be back to comment on posts later but for now..

4 Days till Disney countdown!

All pictures are complimentary of a google search since I've never been.

So what is your favorite special event at WDW you've ever done?

I loved MNSSHP! Though the Pirate and Princess party was pretty cool too. We also love traveling during the Flower & Garden Festival!

Great news about your Imagineer friend being there!!

We love all the special events we have been to. MNSSHP fireworks and parade are amazing, but we have a special place in our heart for MVMCP, this will be our 4th year in a row going to it :goodvibes.
