That was about it for Christmas decorations. The rooms were very nice, very similar to POR, except POR has two sinks and CSR has one. We have stayed at both if you are trying to compare the two.

Great pictures Buzz. I don't remember all of those decorations when we were just there in 2007. Are your pictures from just this past year. If so, boy I sure did miss alot!

Buzz - OMG those pictures are just beautiful! I had no idea that CSR was decorated so nicely for Christmas. I've seen lots of pics of the deluxe resorts with the Cristmas decor, but WOW, CSR looks just as beautiful!

Due to my hubby's job, we really need to vacation during his slow time, and that happens to be anytime between Thanksgiving and the second week of January. I figured if that's when we have to vacation, we should go when we can enjoy all the Christmas decor/festivities. I was thinking maybe the first week of December.

Anyway, I'm actually trying to decide whether to rent points to stay at a DVC resort (OKW or AKV or BWV), or use the 40% off room code we received in an email and reserve at CSR (if there are rooms there that can be booked using the code).

As funny as this sounds, it's a hard decision. Especially since we can cancel a CRO reservation if something unexpected happens, whereas when renting, it's basically a done deal after money has exchanged hands. Not that I'm expecting anything to come up, but you never know what could happen.
