Does anyone make Kanzashi?

I'm thinking of getting the Clover Kanzashi templates from the USA (none here in NZ) and making a few. I was wondering if anyone on the Boards used the templates by Clover or made Kanzashi by hand. What's it like as a craft?

It's not like I need another craft as my DH thinks spinning, knitting, crochet and patchwork is enough but I think that Kanzashi would be a wonderful way to use up some of my fabric stash.
