Does anyone live in Washington ?

I'm wondering if anyone lives in Washington that could tell me if what I was just told is true.

We are supposed to catch the Coho ferry to Port Angeles on Tuesday and drive to Seatac Airport.

We were just told that the I5 is closed and we wouldn't be able to get from Port Angeles to Seatac.

Does anyone know if that's true ?

The only I-5 closure I am aware of is in the Centralia/Chehalis area which would not be an issue if you were going to Sea Tac.

And I-5 is open as of this morning anyway...

You should be fine. The flooding is what shut down I-5 which is now reopened. Have a fun trip!

Only one lane is open each way, and the closure was from exit 68 to exit 88 which are way past the Port Angeles exits.

By the way the lanes they have open now are only for 10,000lb vehicles and larger (commercial).
They will open to passenger vehicles when a second lane in each direction can be opened.

You should be able to get to SEA-TAC from there right now. Are you coming from Victoria? You can take the Bainbridge-Seattle ferry and go south to Sea-Tac.
