Does anyone lie about B-day?

We don't lie about our birthdays to get freebies. Even on our birthdays, hubby and I don't mention anything to the servers because we don't want the attention. Our friends know not to say anything as well.

I think I should rephrase that..... I was shocked at the number of people wearing multiple buttons!!!

Every park gives them out now. People like to collect them.

I want to get one from Downtown Disney this year. But I'm not going to get to a park on the 31st, so I will bring an old one from home in case they don't have any at DTD for some reason.

This are the magical moments I like to hear about! I would hate for these types of events to end because of the abuses of others.

But none of us really know if this is being so abused...I mean, sure we get a few posters on here who "overhear" someone lying.....

do you mean they have different designs in each park for the same event ie Birthday would be different from MK to AK?

They're basically the same button with a different park logo on it (castle for MK, tree for AK, etc). I think I have also seen ones lately that just say "Congratulations" without any mention of birthdays. I don't know if those are standard or they vary by park.

Epcot's are different. They have "happy birthday" written on them in several languages instead of "Today is my birthday" and the park logo.

This is our 35th wedding anniversary trip which actually includes the date - I plan on ordering a cake delivered to our room at POP. We were at Disney in 1971, a month after they opened for our honeymoon and various other times with our five children. This time it's alone, just the two of us! That's special enough! We'll be there November 12th thru the 18th.
