If I have a reservation with Disney for a BCV in a period that is sold out for DVC, can I rent points from a DVC member and transfer the reservation to DVC???

Reservations from CRO cannot be transferred to DVC, they come from different room inventories. DVC Member Services controls the points inventory, which are rooms declared into member inventory. CRO controls the non-member inventory, those are rooms that DVD owns plus rooms from members who traded out.

If you find a member who has a reservation already made for the dates you want, you could rent it from them and they will change the reservation to your name.
