Does anyone know where to find kids' swings at DVC resorts?

DH and I looked all over for swings for our DD when we were at Disney recently. Save for 2 swings hidden behind a quiet pool at OKW, we didn't find them anywhere! There were many, many lovely playgrounds at other resorts, but no swings. What gives :confused3 Were we just looking in the wrong places? Are there ANY swings in the Boardwalk/Beach Club area? Our daughter is not yet walking but LOVES to go on the swings. We go to the park every day when we're home. She can't do much else in the play areas just yet. Thanks to anyone who can tell us where the elusive swings are so our princess: can enjoy them at Thanksgiving!

I don't know about swings at Disney but I do know that in order to meet safety standards in California swings require an enormous amount of empty "fall space" which makes putting swings into playgrounds prohibitive

Only other place I can think of is at CSR but i don't think they are baby swings. ( & non dvc of course)-sorry not to be more help

the pool at BC is the big attraction. until dvc they didn't have a playground.

they are more for an older/younger set. the volleyball court, the pool.

OKW is probably your only choice. they do have the swing at each of the quiet pools. (or did - Disney is always changing)

I don't think the play area at WL does. It is on the beach. but WL does have those rocking stairs. She might enjoy them.

Where are the swings at Coronado? We could definitely go there! As for OKW, we only found swings at the Turtle something-or-other quiet pool. We didn't find them at the other one, and there were none at the big pool either.

The swings at Coronado are located next to the Dig Site Pool area. Here's a picture of them.

The playground is called the "Explorers Playground" and you can see more pictures of the playground here.

Coronado has a GREAT playground and a very, very nice pool. They've got a good food court as well. If your daughter loves swings and you are a DVC member and can pool-hop, you may want to spend part of a day at CSR. If not, you may want to consider it as a place to stay.

We've stayed there a couple of times, but I never knew about the playground. Thanks for all the info/pictures! We are DVC members, but we are also FL residents. We like to go and stay on a FL resident rate on the weekends occasionally, so Coronado will now be top of our list for the playground and pool alone!
