Does anyone know what USA holidays are in April/March?

March/April has many school holidays in the USA?

We had to change our holiday to march/April for business reasons.

Has anyone been to LA, Las Vegas, NY during these months? What's it like during Easter?


Any feedback would be great.

We found early March to be really good, but the further it got into the month the busier and busier it got.

Having said that, March can be freezing cold in NY. We were there in 2008 and decided (for some stupid reason) to take the ferry out to the Statue of Liberty on a minus 16 degree day The plus side of freezing cold in NY means no crowds, and no line ups for the tourist attractions.

I don't know about April, sorry

We arrived in NY on the Tuesday after Easter in 2010 (early April), the temperature ranged from freezing to nice Spring days. We then went to WDW and the crowds were fine, the weather was great.

This year we arrive in NY on the Wednesday before Easter, we are looking forward to the Easter Bonnet parade on 5th Ave, we have 12 nights in NY before going to Orlando, so I can update you on 'how busy' NY is when we get back.

Oh no, spring break. I'm interested when they are on in LA, and how long that break goes for.

Easter in the USA sounds fun.

Spring Break runs from Tomorrow(Friday the 9th) to April 15th.

It greatly effect crowds at both Disney resorts.

It also effect warm US tourist destinations. Many beaches in the Carolinas, Florida and other Gulf States. Also destinations in Mexico. Mostly College students though Mexico gets some high school students too because of the lower drinking age.

Many people do go to Las Vegas(college students), though it is not much busier due to them.

Hmmmmm, thanks for that. I'm guessing the accommodation will be higher too. bugger. We save through tax, but it costs us more during the holidays.
