We arrive next Thursday and I was curious if anyone knew what the "special" was this year. Last year at SSR I got the cute snowman blanket.

I'm not sure what this year's offer is, but in past years there has been a cost associated with the "gift". I believe it is usually in the $10 range.

Surprisingly I know this one, and already bought it!

It's a VERY cute holiday tote bag, (taupe colored) that says Walt Disney World 1971 and has green & red "candy cane" colors striped on the handles. The thread color for the WDW logo is green and the "1971 (with a snowflake between the 19 & 71) is red. The base of the bag is red as well..CUTE!!
$10 with $30+ purchase.

Funny, but I had just the opposite thought - I did not care for the tote at all. I was disappointed it wasn't something cuter.

At MK and only MK, they have a blanket with the Castle with the Christmas lights for $20 (?) (not sure on the exact price.)

The MK throw is very nice - very soft and cuddly. DTD World of Disney has a rolling bag for $20 for every $40 spent.

The castle is my fav and what I collect. I try to get something castle themed every visit. My fav is the beautiful replica of the castle from the Emporium ($250 one with real lights - takes my breath away) last Easter (thank goodness for all that birthday money). Well, looks like I've found my souvie for this trip in 12 DAYS!!!. It looks like a beautiful throw. I might have to get two - one to use and one to display on the wall like a quilt - I am soooo happy they have this!!

Great idea about the wall hanging . I just bought a new townhouse and as a present to myself also bought the Thomas Kinkade A New Day at Cinderella's Castle. I can hang the blanket in the room with the painting to tie it all in. Thanks.

Thanks for the link -- the throw looks nice! Is there a minimum purchase requirement in order to buy it at $20 or is it a flat $20? And a photo of the tote special would be appreciated, too. We've collected several Disney holiday watches at the special $10 with $xx purchase and was sorry to see that snowman blanket last year (instead of another holiday watch).
