I think diane is referring to this language on the
DVC site:
Even if you've already purchased one, you can still take advantage of these limited-time savings. Purchase before April 30, 2014, and you can activate your new Pass or Passport when your old one expires.
I don't think that is intended to mean that you can activate you new pass at ANY TIME when your old one expires. Everything else that's been posted everywhere says they must be activated by January (not sure what date it was - 1/15 I think) 2015. Seems like that language should be written better on the DVC site.
When they published that information - a few weeks ago - anyone who had an AP
at that moment in time would be able to buy a new voucher and activate it when their AP expired.
But as time goes by beyond 1/15, that will be true for less and less people. So if you had an AP that that didn't expire until say April 2015, the new deal really wouldn't work for you - or seem to make much sense.
