Does anyone know if we are allowed to hang Christmas lights from our balcony at the Grand Floridian?

Does anyone know if we are allowed to hang Christmas lights from our balcony at the Grand Floridian? I will be there before Christmas and I thought it would be fun to put Christmas lights on the balcony but I don't want to be tacky or break any rules.

Didn't know that technically it wasn't allowed... But I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas at BWV in a room overlooking the boardwalk a couple years back and we and others had lights on the balconies with no objections raised.

Maybe they didn't know that it wasn't against the rules. I wonder if anyone told them? Although I know the legal position-"Ignorance of the law is no excuse".
