Does anyone know if Chef TJ is still at Park Faire?

I heard he is wonderful with GF foods and we booked this restaurant for our next just for that reason!

I know a poster here said that when they were at WDW in February, he was on some sort of leave or sabbatical. I don't know if there's any way to see if he's back or not.

Right, the blog is Sept. '12, but the reply is from March 2013. So he was back then.

He used to be several years ago. He left for Park Faire. I haven't heard that he is back...but that would be awesome if true!

I am sorry I just want to know is this chef tj that everyone talking about who knew Disney had such a famous chef that famous from making vegan food and handling allergies great.


As of feb 7 2013 that the only recent post I found he still at 1900 park fare it funny that at restaurant that have character he seems to be more popular may be they should make chef Mickey into chef tj.

Chef TJ is never there for breakfast as far as I know. He's always worked dinner.

If breakfast is the same Chef Johnathan that used to work at the Kona Island Sushi Bar then he's amazing. He was a real artist with food. He created some real works of art for my kids. Very different types of things than Chef TJ but still wonderful. We gave him the freedom to just put together whatever he wanted after we told him what ingredients our kids like and he created masterpieces.

We are going May 26 to June 2. Our reservations are for Wednesday! Whew! Thanks for the info

awesome! We are at Park Faire on SUnday May 12th for dinner so hoping I get to meet this infamous Chef. My DD has a severe dairy allergy...maybe he will make us something special
