I do,, my husband got me started as a way to help me let go of daily stresses that keep me from being able to go to sleep.
The hardest part is being able to focus on 'nothing' and let the meditation flow over you. I totally know what you mean.
Do you have a mantra that helps you? I just use the basic "Om Mani Padme Hum".
It's really something that takes practise. I am impatient, and it took me a long time to relax enough to meditate properly. I do find it helps now,, especially after tense moments with my teenage daughters. lol
