the Resin buildings? You know the miniture versions of Disney Buildings? I am thinking that these would be a cool thing to collect.

I'm not sure which resin buildings you refer to. I have a few ceramic Disney buildings that I bought from Hallmark a few years ago. They have lights and we set them up at Christmas time.
Where did you see the resin buildings?

They were in the Catalog for the Disneyana event coming up... I know it's not called Disneyana but I can't remeber what it was called. I have also seen a few in the Pavillions arounf World Showcase and in the catalogs.

I haven't seen these, but I could certainly be interested in starting a new collection. I have the Department 56 Disney Parks Christmas Village Set that was done a few years ago.

It's called the Disneyana Mystery and the pieces are from Lilliput Lane. In the past the sculptures have been:

Fire Startion 105 1995 LE501
Hall of Presidents 1996 LE500
Haunted Mansion 1997 LE500
Train Station 1998 LE500
Main Street Cinema 1999 LE500
Small World 2000 LE400
Tom Sawyer Island 2001 LE400
2002 is Tower of Terror LE400

Pictures can be seen at disneyanaexchange.com
I'm not sure if there were any before 1995 but if you email Martha at the Disneyana Exchange she might be able to tell you.

I just collect pieces of Disney building, you know loose bricks, and such that just happen to fall into my backpack things like that.

At least I dont have a wheel from the space mountain ride like somebody else I know... hmmmm

But my house is fully done with speakers from the Grand Floridian Resort. :p (they were left over really)

The Lilliput Lane houses are about the only ones neither my parents nor I have.

My parents have the Dept 56 set, 80% of the DL ceramic set that Sears sold in the 80's

I have the resin attraction hinged boxes that DL & WDW sold for $18-$20 a few years ago. If anyone has the WDW Haunted Mansion one or knows where to get one, please let me know!

But the news that scares my credit card half to death, more than pins, is this Fall a new Disneyland building series debuts, made by Robert Olszewski. I think I am going to let my parents collect that series. :D Since it will be sold at DL only, at least my Mom can get her discount. :D
