Most people do not have the guides e-mail adress and the ones that do for the most part get a response that she will call you back shortly..
The e-mail should be firstname.lastname@disney.com
You are better off leaving a message as you gotta talk to them anyway....
No one knows the true reason why but it seesm to make sense that they will not put anything in writing that can be used against them.....

Actually, I think it is to protect them from the sales laws regarding timeshares. Many states have rather stringent laws regarding contact for timeshare sales, and needing a voice contact is the only protection for them. Otherwise it can be considered solicitation. If you call them first, they are protected from that.
