Does anyone have the LARGE Sizzix file folder die?

I first bought the smaller Sizzix file folder die (#38-1105) just called "File Folder" but it was smaller than I liked so I found what I thought was a larger one on Ebay called "File Folder #2" (#38-1159). Well, I feel like an idiot, but I don't quite "get it". If you have the smaller one you know it has a score mark and you fold in half to get your folder. The larger one is just the shape of a file folder - it is not actually a folder. What are you supposed to do with that? I bought it thinking it was a folder, but now I have no earthly idea on how I'd ever use this one. Does anyone else have this one?

I have this one- here's what I did. Measure from the top of the tab to the bottom edge of the folder and add maybe a 1/2 inch. Double that amount and cut your cardstock (or whatever material you are using). Find the center, score and fold. Place the die on the cardstock, placing the folded edge slightly ABOVE the bottom cutting edge of the die (which is the bottom of the folder). Carefully slide everything into place and cut. Now you have a folder w/two tabs. What I did was took the negative space turned upside down, lined it up with the tab I wanted to cut out, traced part of it (down one side and along the straight edge, but not up the other side), then took a ruler and finished the line to the edge of the folder. I rounded the corners when I cut it out.

Was that clear as mud?

I played with it a little until I was satisfied with it (may take a few tries to get it how you like it) and then used that one as a template.

That sounds like a lot of work for something that's supposed to make your life easier!!
