Does anyone have something to slow time down???

Oy! I have my surgery on, of all dates, Friday the 13th. Then, just a week later on the 21st is our Down Syndrome Buddy Walk! Agghhh!! Those two days are coming up so quick!!

I'm getting so nervous about surgery! I have never been under general anesthesia before.....spinal and sedation, but not out completely. Yup, I'm nervous! And the Buddy Walk!! I am so nervous about pulling that off too!! I need more time!!!!

We've got walkers and food donations, activities and a magician. But, so much can go wrong!!

So, if someone could just slow time for me a bit, so I can get my thoughts together and make sure everything is all set and in place, I would appreciate it!! Thanks!!

Oh, I didn't know you were having surgery, I'll say a prayer for you. Don't worry. I just had major surgery (hyst.) last January, I know exactly how you feel. But trust me, you'll do just fine. Take a nice deep breath and take it one day at a time.

Good luck with everything. Before you know the time will come and go and you will have gotten through it. Sometimes the anticipation can be worst then the surgery itself.
I am not sure what you are having the surgery for, but lots of good wishes from me to you for a speedy recovery.
I notice we both have a daughter named Selina. Your spelling is the way I wanted to spell it but DH won the right to the spelling.
