I specifically am curious about the bedroom space and living room space.
Planning to see where we could put the crib/pnp... :thumbsup2

Thank you!

Anybody? I figure I'll bump this up once just in case

It has been reported on these boards that a value villa at AKV are 3 feet shorter than the regular villas. That would mean that the area between the bed and the sliding door to the balcony is almost eliminated. Here's a link of photos of AKV villas on DVC News.com. DVC News also shows the floor plan of a regular villa. It's looks like it will be tight to me. http://www.dvcnews.com/index.php/resorts/animal-kingdom-villas/maps-a-photos

I have also read that the living room is more crowded because the same furniture that is in a regular villa is used in a value. Except you don't get the sleeper chair. So I would think you might be able to place the pack 'n play at the end of the sleeper sofa in the living room.

Has anyone on the Disboards actually used a pack 'n play in a 1BR value at AKV? It sure would help the OP.

Thanks so much for trying to help
I had a feeling the bedroom might be too tight for a pnp but I haven't seen any pictures that shows the space yet. I know it's hard to take a good picture in some small spaces.
I hope dd will be ok sleeping in the living room by herself... oy... all the new problems and concerns when you become a mommy... :lmao:

Thanks again and I hope like you said someone who's had a pnp in a value 1br could chime in... :flower3:

We haven't stayed in a value, but in our SV at Kidani, we put the PnP in the bathroom. That way dd was closer to us than the living room, but still had her own "room". It was especially nice during the day when we wanted to hang out in the living room during her naps. She had a nice quiet and dark room to herself.
I'm not sure how the bathrooms in the value compare to the regular rooms though.

It's kind of narrow on the window/sliding door side of the MBR bed. Maybe El&Asmom's suggestion of using the bathroom would work. However, I thought some posters mentioned that the fan came on whenever you walked into the bathroom. Don't know if that noise would bother your little one when you check on her. We stayed in a BLT studio early this month. The bathroom fan came on in bathroom with any movement. But it wasn't really loud. Crazy thing was that the fan went off when you took a shower as there wasn't any movement on the other side of the shower curtain. I found myself opening the curtain and waving my arm around to trigger the fan.

OK, I had that picture of someone sticking their arm out the curtain wildly waving around... that is funny.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!
KAT4DISNEY I definitely appreciate the link. That's what I was looking for. I wonder how I miss that from the search...
El&Asmom, thank you so much for the suggestion. I think we are going to try that... and hopefully the fan won't go crazy like DenLo's experience...

Thanks everyone. You guys are awesome

The fans are a bit weird. We never had a problem with them with dd in there sleeping though. I think we may have set it off once while going in to get our toothbrush while she was already asleep. It wasn't loud enough to wake her up though.

Good luck. We love AKV.
