Does anyone have one of those new DVC membershop cards?

I have a new DVC membership card ( misplaced my last) and I noticed that it is different than my old one in that there is no paper strip to sign your name on the back of the card although it has a spot to do so. It is all plastic and won't take a ballpoint pen! Did you have to sign it with a permanent fine magic marker? I also noticed my membership number in the front of the card is not with raised numbers( like a credit card) but has the same numbers typed and encased in plastic. Anyone else have this type of card? Thanks.

I've had 2 membership cards, and just requested my third. The original card was very colorful and was embossed with raised letters, however, the front separated from the back of the card.

The next card was a blue card with gold, flat lettering. The gold has rubbed off, so you have to turn the card to the light "just so" to be read it. My newest card hasn't arrived yet.

How do you sign the new cards?

The entire backof the card is textured for writing, instead of being shiny with the paper strip. Mine worked fine with a regular pen.

In any case, I prefer to sign credit cards with a fine point Sharpie or similar indelible marker. That will work on the new card.

I got my cards today, even though our deed does not go through until March 2005 and before we go our dues statement.
