We are looking at a Travelodge Suites deal for $34.95 for a suite that sleeps 6. The picture on the hotels site looks nice, but who really knows.

The addy of the hotel is 4694 W. Irlo Bronson Mem Hwy. Has anyone stayed at this particialr hotel and if so, what is it like? Specifically - clean or dirty?

Not looking for a fancy suite, but just somewhere CLEAN to sleep and shower.

Any information - good or bad needed ASAP.

Thanks,
M

My advice: find another place.

Even at $35 it is overpriced. It is not[/] a suite. It is a single room with two beds and a knee wall separating a day bed. It is old and well worn. (Don't wear anything white.) It would also be a real stretch to sleep 6 in that room. Rooms are not well soundproofed and you will hear every 18 wheeler going by on 192.

Try the Sheraton Four Points Lakeside. It's on 192 on the other side of I-4. For the extra $14/night it will cost you, it will be money well spent.

I agree with GoldenOldie...my SO family stayed there last March (wish they had asked us prior to making reservations). The hotel is not suites as they advertise, in fact the rooms they were in where just regular room with a couch and microfridge added.

The rooms were dirty and they had bugs..definately not clean.

Also there were big piles of trash at the top of the stairways on the landings.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

thanks for the replies - was it definitely this particular hotel? I was told there are 3 on the same strip and this one was decent. Was I lied to?

Do you have any info on the Magic Castle Maingate on 192?

There is only one Travelodge Suites at 4694 US 192. It's the same hotel.

As far as whether you were lied to, I can't say. Things like this are very subjective. What seems like a dump to you and me can seem perfectly acceptable to someone else. This hotel still fills most of its rooms. I would still advise you to spend your money elsewhere.

Sorry, I don't.

We stayed at the Magic Castle Inn and Suites (I'm not sure if this was the maingate one or the hotel further down 192. The room was very clean and fairly large (two queen beds), and we enjoyed the continental breakfast. We didn't use the pool - it was tiny and looked murky. At that time it was $28/night...
