Hi! I was wondering if anyone has any pics or would like to tell me about their experience at Alfredos? I will be dining there for the first time and want to know about it!
:sunny: Thanks! :sunny:

I had eaten there way way back in 1986 (as a kid) and again in 1995 on my honeymoon. I had always liked it, but just never made it back until this past December when my Mom and I did the CP Package there.

After hearing some mediocre reviews I wasn't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. We were pressed for time and they took us when we arrived early for our PS. I have heard some complaints that the service isn't good or people feel rushed, but we were moved along at a good pace, not too fast, but again, quick enough since we were in a rush. The food was very good.

I do prefer Mama Melrose and would choose that if I only had to choose 1, but overall we enjoyed Alfredos very much. I am going back to do the CP Package with my family there this year (or we hope to).

Went for lunch there for the very 1st time this past feb. LOVED IT!!! I had the Alfredo and DH Chicken parmasan and we thought it was great. We each ate half the switched so we could try each other's out.

We ate there on our recent trip. The food was delicious. We had slow service which proved to be a little frustrating since we had our children with us. It wasn't a big deal. I took the children and dh stayed behind and paid.

We, too, really enjoyed it. We went for the fettuchini alfredo since it's different than others and doesn't use a cream based sauce that my DH can't tolerate. I had very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at the service, atmosphere, and food quality. I did not find the place cramped or the tables close together in our area, which I see as common complaints regarding it. I will say that our dinner was not relaxing, we were in and out in 25 minutes, but that was good for us that night since we didn't want to sit there forever. I will also say that I found the portions to be quite small for the $$. The alfredo was nothing short of amazing and unique and we'll be back just for that - it's the only place I know to get alfredo made the "right" way.

Here are pics - dinner portion of alfredo:

Dinner portion of lasagna (which was nothing special IMO):

Wow, those portions look small. We were thinking of trying lunch. I'm afraid to see the lunch size portions.

Myself (23) and my parents (in their early 50s) ate there in late March for lunch and loved it. Wasn't very crowded, and I didn't find the tables to be that close or the place to be that loud. :confused3 I find Chefs de France much more cramped and noisy, but I still love that place as well. :wizard:

My mom and I had the Fettuccine Alfredo. I know it doesn't look like much portion-wise, but it is so incredibly rich that it fills you up fast. At least for me, I could only eat maybe 2/3 of it. Most delicious meal I've ever had in WDW though. :goodvibes My dad had the spaghetti and meatballs; he found it a bit bland, but he still enjoyed it. Especially loved the meatballs.

Here's a picture of my lunch:

As I said, it's a lot more to eat than it looks like. It's pretty deep into the plate and there's a lot of noodles crammed in there.

I give Alfredo's two :thumbsup2 . :teeth:

Ate there last December for the first time. Found the restaurant noisy and tales (for 2) smashed together in the usual WDW style. BUT, we had a great time! Become 'buddies' with our 'tablemates' smashed in next to us (one table wouldn't talk to us, the other, were older folks who came so often, knew the servers) and learned what was good, what wasn't, where they were from, etc. Food was good. Don't expect stellar anything in WDW. During the meal, the servers burst out into song, walking around the restaurant and twirling napkins over their head, entiire restaurant joined in. We loved the pasta figouli soup so much, went back 2 days later for lunch.
The best in WDW? Na....but enjoyed ourselves. Life is what you make it.

Bo to the "post your pics of food" thread, page 236 has a list of which pages you can find pics for each restaurant. It's very helpful - hope you enjoy it! :)

man those lunch sizes do look small....

We're trying Alfredo's for the first time as well this trip. Not yet sure what I want to try...

I'm trying to look at the bright side.....smaller entree portions means I'll have room for dessert!!!!

Thier portions are not small they are served on HUGE plates! :thumbsup2
I never finish my whole plate --and I do eat-- and you need to leave room for desert :rotfl:

Went there for dinner this past Dec, we had the tomato salad and split it, we each got a sampler plate (it was on the menu at the time but I dont think it is anymore) and it had fettuccini alfredo, lasagne and pasta bolognese. All 3 were fantastic but too rich (the portions are not too big but that is ok because the food is so rich). The bread was as hard as a rock and we had to ask for fresh bread twice (they were so busy you wouldnt think this would be a problem).

We shared a dessert sampler plate (again it was on the menu at the time) and it had a custard (zabligione), cannoli, tiramisu, chocolate covered strawberry and a slice of cheesecake. It was sooo good.

I would def eat there again but I think I would try lunch so I can walk off all the calories!

They may look small, but I defy you to finish them! :faint:
No one in our party was able to finish the pasta dishes--they're too rich. We all had a good meal there earlier this month.

Ditto. Almost everyone around us ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, and I didn't see one plate cleared when they left the restaurant. Better not try that at Prime Time! :rotfl:

The food is excellent, especially the Fettucine Alfredo. We usually sit outside rather than inside, and have a nice long lunch.

The portion does look small, but it's hard to finish. I would say that it's a European sized portion rather than an American one, which fits the theme of the place.

To a European the American sized portions can be obscenely large, far more than one person should be able to eat. I find that just getting a portion that big ruins my appetite a bit.
