Does anyone have a Zen MP3 type thingy?

DD has a Zen Microphoto that my brother and father bought for her last year. She has had no problems with it and my brother, after researching all the brands and buying a Zen for himself thought this was a better buy than the Ipod. In terms of easy to use the Zen works off microsoft and seems very easy for her to transfer music to and from the computer, Ipods require special software if I'm not mistaken. I am techno challenged :confused3 so I have to take DB word for things like this.

I'm surprised by all the Ipod problems. We have 3: a 20 gig (2 years old), a mini (18 mths) and a nano (1 year). We have only had very minor problems.

I would not hesitate to buy another.
Me either. I LOVE my iPod.
That being said, when my daughter's Zen worked, the microphone/recorder was spectacular.

I have a zen 1gb nano. I'm one of the few who dislikes it, I'm looking at i-pod. I don't use the radio on it, I don't buy cd's in stores anymore, and it can only hold so many mp3's and it can't work with walmart store songs contray to what they say. I can't get it clean at all, no matter I try, it's small and somehow ends up turned on in my purse where I carry it. I just am not happy with it at all.

From what Ive read - people whom are fed up with their iPods are very pro-Zune.

These people exist? :rotfl: who knew?

I still wonder why people want anything with a three inch screen to watch video. I've had ups and downs with HDD iPods, but the new nano's are the best mp3 player Apple has ever launched.

another iPod clone with wifi. but the wifi only works with other Zunes. another brilliant product from Microsoft.

I'm an Ipod person, but the Zen's Vision M has great reviews. It's between this and a 30gb Ipod that I'm trying to decide upon.

Great for the car and plane trips.

so is a portable DVD player. the LCD screens on the video iPod scare the hell out of me because of how fragile they are. our iMac is stationary, our iPods and nano's have been up-armored, but still get banged around.

A portable DVD player is really not as convenient, yes image quality maybe better.

Ipod loaded up with a about a dozen movies requires NO DISK swapping and battery life is much better, and it fits in your pocket.

I get the video iPod, but I'm not I'm still not sold on it. I've got another 30 gig sitting on the charger dead at this moment with the little sick face.

I'd rather disk swap and burn my own content.
