Does anyone have a Sling Box for the computer?

My DH wants one of these but before I spend $200 I would love some opinions.

With it you are supposed to be able to watch your T.V. from your computer no matter where you are. For example if we are in Orlando we should be able to watch our local news.

Would love opinions.

Not stinking rich but DH loves "toys" like this. It isn't that expensive considering my purse obsession!

HeeHee I don't know about that! I threatened to lock him outside today and it was 115 degrees!

My DH wants one too. However, I am reluctant due to the fact he could be out of state on a business trip and be changing the channels on me while I am watching tv. He says he can get around that by putting it on a different tv, but who knows. I honestly think he should be able to get by on the channels provided by the hotel, but he just doesn't think so.

Mine just wants it because its a new technical contraption for the T.V. and computer. I don't think he really cares about watching anything from home per say. He just wants it because its cool. I do think it would be cool to be able to tape my soaps on the DVR here at home and watch them at Disney when we get back to the hotel at night though.

My Dh has one and loves it. He has it hooked to our bedroom tv. I never watch that tv/dvr so we have never had any conflicts. He works long hours and travels a lot so he does use it quite a bit.
I was hesitant about the need vs the want but it I was happy when I could access my DVR season passes while we were on vacation.
