Does anyone have a review on JetBlue Even More Speed at MCO?

I've found it to be a slight to moderate improvement over the regular line, depending on time of day. I wouldn't pay for just the expedited line, though, I just consider it a nice bonus that comes with the premium seats.

Thanks. I agree, as a nice bonus but the seat is always the important part...and the Blue Terra chips!!!:worship:

:)

We used it in conjunction with the extra space and it was nice. We also had our then 3yo DD w us so having the extra speed made it easier in that we got through quick and didn't have to worry about a long line with her.

I did note the extra space between the seat in front of me.

We only splurged for the return and if I had to do it again I would only splurge for the return.

We fly out of Hartford so lines aren't long compared to other airports.

But I will say the extra $150 (5 of us) was well worth it on the way home. The line in MCO was "30 min from here" and there were many people behind that. So we got to bypass that line.

Monorailsilver, don't get me wrong as I Love the extra legroom, but I have seen lines at MCO that have been quite long. If the airport wasn't an issue (like Hartford you mentioned) I would think a little longer about spending the money, but going out of MCO, I was curious as it always seems to have a line.
I went out of JFK a couple of times, and having paying the extra was well worth is as it was like having a FASTPASS for Toy Story or Peter pan!

I have purchased this for my mom when I have bought her JetBlue tickets, but now there's no need, as she has TSA Pre✓.

We weren't allowed to use it at Mco since we were traveling with our girls. It really annoyed me. We get it for dh since he's 6'7" and he needs the extra room

We purchased it last Aug. and it was great. We purchased it for our trip this past Jan. and it was a waste of money since MCO didn't have the speedy line open. We went to where it was supposed to be but you were just put in with everyone else. Guess it might be the luck of the draw.

Did they give you a reason for not being allowed to use it w you daughters? I was able to use it in MCO w my then 3 yo in April of 13.

It has saved my wife, three kids and me from long lines at MCO a few times. I pay for the extra legroom though, the extra speed is a bonus.

No they just saw the double stroller and made us move to the family/slow traveler line. My girls are really quick at the whole process but they just assumed we would hold people up. I was going to argue but we had enough time and I didn't feel like being "randomly" selected for an additional screening

It seems like some people don't have an issue and others do. I don't know if the TSA there knows if people pay JetBlue for the privlege of the Even More speed line, there is a policy of some sort about kids- maybe the double stroller, or the TSA are being jerks. But the fact is you pay for a service. If you can't use it and it should be more clearly posted or mentioned on JetBlues site. If it is I have not seen it.

Can't say I blame you about not wanting to be "randomly" selected. You should be able to complain, but we know what the TSA can and will do if they want to.

The line at MCO on our return was long. I felt a big relief when the guard pointed us to the much shorter line for us. It was so worth the extra money.

But like I said, Hartford isn't that bad and we had an early morning flight so we were thru security at about 7-7:30 and it took us longer to get our shoes back on and repackage our bags then it did to walk thru the security line.

Pandora yeah, if we flew out if a busier airport or if it was the Wednesday before t-giving I would definitely purchase the extra leg room.

We bought more leg room seats in Nov but did not see any other line. Is there a sign above the line entrance? Do you have to have something marked on your ticket other than "More Legroom seats"?

I used it in Dec. it shortened my wait by about 15 mins. It is kind if hard to see the line tho. It really wasn't obvious to the casual observer. But if you looked closely, the signage does have something about JB extra leg room/speed passengers.

Did you pay for it for everyone or just your husband? If you paid for it for everyone, you should have all got it. If not, then just your husband was eligible.

It depends on the airport. Some airports have the even more speed some don't. The following is from the JetBlue website:
Even More Speed access may vary by airport location. At Chicago (ORD), Boston (BOS), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Newark (EWR), and New York (JFK), Even More Speed signage will be visible at the security checkpoint entrance. At other airport locations, Even More Speed customers may use "priority," "premium," or "business/first class" lanes. A JetBlue Crewmember at each airport will be happy to assist with questions on how to take advantage of Even More Speed.

Boarding passes will be marked with the extra speed logo.

DH and I tried to use it in November. The so called even more speed line was longer than the regular lines. We moved to a regular line and got through within 5 minutes. When we past the front of the even more speed line, I noticed the TSA person was talking with other employees rather than concentrating on the flyers.
