Roaming:
If you plan to use your PC mobile phone while travelling anywhere in the continental USA, Alaska and Hawaii, you will be "roaming," which means you will be using foreign wireless networks to carry your call. To use the roaming service, you must make arrangements in advance with a PC mobile customer service representative.
How to arrange roaming privileges:
Two weeks before you travel, call PC mobile customer service to set up your account so that your PC mobile phone works from the continental USA, Alaska and Hawaii, where roaming arrangements are in place.
Arrange with PC mobile customer service to be set up on the pre-authorized top-up program.
If you decide to cancel the roaming feature, it will need to remain active on your account for 90 days after cancellation to accommodate delayed billing from US carriers.
When you roam with your PC mobile phone in the USA, the following charges apply:
$1.80 CDN/min for airtime if you make a call to anywhere within the same US local calling area where you are physically located.
Additional $0.99 CDN/min for any long distance calls you make outside the US local calling area where you are physically located.
Both of the above charges ($1.80 and $0.99) apply to all incoming calls, while roaming in the USA.
