Does anyone have a Hertz discount code?

We were looking into possibly renting a car to drive down to FL (save wear and tear on our car). This would be in Nov, from Ohare, or somewhere in the Chicagoland area. Does anyone know of any discount codes for Hertz? Thanks!

Use the code on your card that denotes what location you are. We are Northern New England so we use code 036. I think it is a 10% discount.

also www.mousesavers.com will have some discount codes for you.

Often times your employer will have CDP codes for Hertz which will give you the best rate and will often include full insurance or such extras. I know Ford Motor Company has by far the best Hertz CDP for employee's and family (30% the lowest rate) so we often use Hertz for our rentals.....

NOTHING is a guarantee with a rental company, however, the more upscale the car, the more toys it will have. Call Hertz and ask.

DON'T, DON'T pick up the car at the airport. you will get hit with an extra 18% tax!!!

I don't rent in cook county so I don't know if that tax is applied in other parts of cook.

I rent in DuPage and it is only 6%.

Where in DuPage do you rent from? The only problem is, we're looking to rent a larger SUV w/a DVD if possible. I couldn't find another location that had those other than Ohare. Do you know of any?

Only the larger Hertz locations (Most of them being Airports) specify between DVD or No DVD. At the price Hertz will hit you to rent the car with a DVD player, you can almost buy a two screen DVD from Target or Best Buy (The more basic models run around $175).

Naperville or Downers Grove.

Go to the Hertz web site and do a search under "fine a Find a Neighborhood Location". enter your address or town and it will give you a list of locations.
