....get so frustrated sometimes that they feel like just checking out of the game.

I'm having one of those days........... I just don't feel like playing anymore.

Anyone have some extra pixie dust??

love your pic under your name and we love Bob too!!

Just some love to cheer you up and if you have'nt read my post about my DD on the Themes board---Kelsey-- and her lost lanyard maybe it will brighten your day. I know everyone here sure has brightned our last few days and week and they really are special people--It's truly amazing!! If you read all the way through to the last page you'll see what I'm talking about. We're all family here and prayers go out to you from our Dis family!!

I think most of us have been there and done that at one time or the other in our life....LOL! Sometimes it feels as tho life hands us more than we care to deal with, but I try to remember ~ in the long haul it's just a stepping stone. Hope things look up.... keep the faith and tomorrow is a new day.

You bet. I've felt like checking out of the game many times. It was as if life was looking me square in the eye and saying "Checkmate".

But happily, I've always been able to put the chess pieces back on the board and play another game.

Hang in there fishbone, brighter days are there somewhere.

I have a little girl who was born completely normal, walked and talked and was pretty independent. At 15 months old she got the flu like every kid does except her fever peaked and caused her to have a prolonged seizure. This left her 100% dependent on me , non-verbal, non-mobile permanently. So I get frustrated all the time.... constantly fighting for funding, never having time for me, hate changing a 7 year old's diapr and having to hand feed her every meal/ snack/ drink. So I'm there all the time.
However, my happy thoughts are "going to Disney" ... constantly looking forward to that next trip.... I may still be doing everything I always do but it's at Disney!!!! Plus she has a killer smile which also brightens my day!!!
