Does anyone else watch Starting Over?

I admit it—I am addicted to watching Starting Over (airs during the day on NBC—thank goodness for TiVo!). I do think I have actually learned some valuable tools from watching the show, believe it or not. I can’t say the same about most of the other shows I watch, LOL. Does anyone else watch it?

I do!! When I am home anyway. I haven't watched in a while and did on Tuesday and weren't seeing any familar faces. I think the concept is neat and really helps a lot of women.

I'm watching it now!! I've loved it since day one, but it has it's frustrating points...

I couldn’t agree more about the frustrating points. For example, I am totally fed up with Lisa (the skinny one who depends on her parents for all her money). I think she is just bold faced lying to Rhonda. I don’t think she has any desire to truly change. I think she will just run right to Mr. Internet as soon as she gets out of the house. Usually the life coaches see right through the women, but it’s like they don’t investigate whether or not she’s lying. Didn’t she email Mr. Internet the same night as the day she spent in the jail?

I watched the frist season, in Chicago(?), but haven't been able to get back into the show. But, Yeah, that Lisa drives me nuts! The life coach from the frist season, not rhonda the other one, she never took any guff from the ladies.

I think her name was Rana. I prefer Iyanla over Rana, and I think both of them are harder on the ladies than Rhonda. I think that Lisa should've been given Iyanla as a life coach--she needs the tough love approach.

I can agree with Lisa needing tough love, a swift kick in the butt, might work better. And althought I am all for helping someone better they get hurt, maybe she needs to fall on her face, before she gets that Ma and Pa are not always going to be there, and a man dosen't need to take care of her either!

I guess I am partial to Rana, because she was there the first season. And her ladies did so well with her.

Great show! I see parts of myself in so many of the women. I've learned a lot and find it entertaining at the same time. I too get frustrated with the show, but the benefits far outweigh the negatives for me. I used to go to some of the message boards after the show, but I found the message boards WAY too negative. Some people can be so cruel!

I love watching the show. Lisa needs to grow up. I think Lisa knows that Rhonda means business but tries to test her.
