I've been looking for the music to legally download. I really love it. I was there Friday night with my friend, and we were dancing with everyone else around us. It's such a great soundtrack.
This is the best legal way I've found to download and listen to the music. It's the Window to the Magic podcast, Episode #480, and it has the Paint the Night audio and Disneyland Forever audio. Paint the Night starts at about 8:30.
I might have cried during that parade... lol Wreck It Ralph is one of our favorite movies, and we didn't look at any you tube videos or anything before hand - didn't want to spoil it - and when that music came on I about died, so did DH! That whole parade was amazing! Genie and Lumiere are 2 of my favorite characters of all time, so when they came by, I was just done, haha. I've never been so happy watching a parade in my life! I'm glad I recorded it, because I was crying so hard I missed some!
Thanks very much for the link! The audio quality is indeed better here. The musical arrangement is only slightly different from the video version. I was so pleased when I found the link to this very professionally done video (which I expect was made for a television broadcast). There are moments that are so very beautiful! My favorite segment is the one that starts at 14 min. 30 seconds running for 2 1/2 minutes. It starts pretty much the same time on your audio version. At 14:45 there is a shot of Cinderella, her graceful movements perfectly in time with the music; so beautiful it gives me a chill that only great art can; I even tear up. I searched for who arranged this music and found on Wikipedia that it is Adam Young, the writer of the Wreck it Ralph song "When Can I See You Again", featured here with somewhat different lyrics. Now I'd like to find out who did the masterful editing. I wish I could purchase a blu-ray of the video and a CD of the audio version. Any idea whether this is possible?
