Does anyone else think that FRIENDS was one of the most stupid shows ever on TV?

I use to watch it all the time but found that they used the same storylines over and over, along with the same jokes. I think I just got bored with it (not hard for me with t.v. shows - I must have television ADD or something).

I do feel like I'm missing out on an "event" tonight, though. Can't get into Survivor either, so I always miss that hoopla too. At least I'm watching American Idol so I'm not completely in the dark on current pop culture!

Reality TV is something else I never got into. I watched several episodes of the very first Survivor. I tried to like it, I wanted to like it, but it just never clicked for me.

Great show, great writing, great acting. That being said, its run its course. I'll miss it, even though I haven't watched it religiously in years.

It's been in syndication for years. Our local Fox network is doing a mini-marathon until 8:00pm.

I love Friends...however I stopped watching religiously a few years ago (about the time Survivor premiered on Thursday nights). I would catch it in reruns though. The time has come for it to end and the hype is quite over the top.

I will say I never really cared for the whole Ross and Rachel thing. I like them together----hated all the back and forth....Rachel drives me nuts. I love Monica and Chandler- to me they are the cement of the show, not Ross and Rachel.

Well, I'm not sitting here blubbering like an idiot for nothing. LOL It was a great show IMO and I am going to miss it dearly.

It was not one of my favorites. I'm a Survivor girl. I did watch the finale, I guess just to see what all the hype was about. I didn't even remember Ross and Rachel had a baby (maybe I never knew)! That was bizarre that she wasn't even mentioned.

She was mentioned. Rachel dropped her off at her mom's house because she wanted to get settled in Paris and then her mom was going to fly over with Emma a few days later.

I loved friends and I am so glad that we have reruns. I do think the hype surrounding the end is a bit overdone.

I remember watching Seinfeld in my younger days and thinking it was a great show...I watch reruns now and can't figure out what I liked about it.

Never watched Survivor except for 1 time I was forced to watch it at my SIL's house...what is so great about it?

Haven't watched Frasier in years...I think the last show I watched was when Daphne and Niles were in a trailer and she was supposed to marry someone else but didn't. I do notice the hype for their ending isn't as much as Friends.

Personally I love it, but to each their own right?? That's why there are so many shows to pick from. The hype was being made because many people (who exactly I don't know) claim Friends is a pop culture icon. Don't know that I'd go that far, but I will miss the show!!
