I work nights and my husband thinks that it is alright for our 2 DD's (6 & 8) to watch Fear Factor. I don't know about this. Do you think it may give them nightmears? I haven't seen it, I am at work when it is on.
I allow my two DD's (ages 9 and 2) to watch most anything. As long as it isn't violent, doesn't have nudity, or sexual activity.
With that said, my 2 year old obviously has no interest in FF. However, my 9 year old loves it! We let her watch it with us whenever we watch it (maybe once a month).
I can't say what is right for your kids, but if they are prone to nightmares, it may not be appropriate for them
My boys all watch it. They love to see the stunts, but do occasionally get grossed out from the food challenges. My youngest is 7, and nothing really scares him.
My DD, 6 3/4 yrs LOVES FF. She loves watching them eat the gross stuff. She also loves Survivor and Amazing Race. She is a very mature 6 yr old though. I let her watch most anything as well -but no extreme violence or sexual content.
My kids watch it, they love it. They LOVE to see if they can make me puke by telling me what nasty things they are eating because I CANNOT watch that part of the show. I can't ever listen to that part of the show.
