Does anyone do Key For Cash?

I just signed up for Key For Cash and took the evaluation. I only got the
23rd percentile and I am wondering what I could do to improve. There were a few things I was confused about.... Every once in a while I would see what looked like a drawn box. Is that a BLANK or UNREADABLE?? Also, do all the rules apply all the time? For instance, in the second evaluation it said to only record on 0 even if you saw a string of them. In the third evaluation that direction was not given and when a string of 0's came up I wasn't sure what to do. Finally, every time I felt I saw only a partial number I clicked ENTER to indicate that it was unreadable. I was trying to be very conservative so I didn't key in something wrong. But now I am wondering if you are supposed to try and decipher the numbers???

If anyone is doing this and has suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate it!!!!

Hi there!

I do Key For Cash, and yes - the evaluation is tough! It took me a few tries, but I finally got 100%... and that is really the only way you'll be contacted, so keep pushing through - you'll be okay! :thumbsup2

Basically, key in numbers/letters when you see them. Be conservative and hit "/" when you can't make out what it is - I never hit "enter" much, only when it's completely illegible.

Be fast! That's key, the quickness. And make sure you don't key in the "0" if it's dollars, but key in the "0" if it's numeric. It will tell you what it is - they do differ.

Good luck, if you have any questions please let know!!

I did it for a while - a by "a while" I mean every time I got a spare minute, and I was no where near getting to the $50 mark to get a check for my efforts. The pay is so, so, so miniscule! I didn't think it would take so much effort to accumulate $50. I haven't been back to the site recently. If I don't make it to $50, I guess they've gotten work out of me for free? :confused3

But to answer your question, I always key in a / in almost every case if it's blank or unreadable. You get credit for a keystroke with a /, but if you just enter you don't get credit for anything.

You are so right with the minuscule payments! It is going to take a LOT to get to that $50...

I've been doing it in my spare time since I was hired last week, and I'm up to $16 (averaging about $3-4 an hour)... lol... but hey, it's something to do while my DH works nights.

There is NEVER any work on the weekends though, so I've found, and that gets frustrating, as that is the main reason I joined...

:confused3

You're right! And never any work early in the morning either. I was hoping to do it for 30 minutes or so before I have to get the kids up for school and myself ready to go to work, and also on the weekends. No such luck. It's sad really, because I'm one of those freaks who loves :thumbsup2 to key.

I also can't wrap my brain around who this is. From doing payroll taxes, I know some of these forms are IRS forms, but what are they doing with this? I thought the IRS scanned everything that wasn't electronic already. Maybe it's what the scanner can't read. :confused3

Exactly!

It's very odd work - I choose to ignore it... lol... figure it'll put me in a better place than trying to decode it, but my DH walked by yesterday and asked, "Is that a Social Security Number?? You're doing something illegal!"

I DOUBT it, but hey... I'm not asking any questions.... :rolleyes1

So...basically they only "hire" for perfect scores?

I don't think it's only perfect scores. I got a 96% the first time I took it and started the next day.

Only I echo what everyone else said- no real money there. It took me about 6-7 hrs to get up to $12.00. The work is very sporadic. So, like others I have not been back to that site in quite a while.

anyone still doing this? I just got my invitation to join after filling out the app months ago. I'm excited about the oppurtunity. I figure I can do it in my 'down time' on chacha and double my efforts and pay. LOL As small as these payments are it'll take alot.

Can you do my test for me pleaseee???? I tried so many timess... :(((

Trust me, you're doing yourself a favor . . . it's pretty much a ripoff. All that data entry and it amounts to nothing really in terms of $.
