Does anyone belong to the "Disney vacation club members" group on Facebook? Insanity

I also just requested to join the DIS DVC Members page. Also, I've had good luck with groups affiliated with individual resorts.

I belong to many, so many I am never quite sure when I see a post what group it is from. When I see one getting out of hand or not to my liking, i just move on and ignore it..smjj

I joined a while back, and I can't tell you how many times I've wanted to unjoin this ridiculous group. I've been on the Dis for many, many years and I'm so used to questions being answered, period. They hide behind, "well, if you don't like our quirkiness (a guise for high school behavior), then leave the group. The moderators are straight out of high school, seriously. Finally, today was a decent thread, of many responses of how many years you've been a dvc member. Then, a moderator comes along and starts this insanity of a million memes and sends it off into clown college. I think I've had it. But its like a train wreck. Does anyone belong and how long could you take it before discontinuing the nonsense?

I don't understand? If you don't enjoy a group on FB. you just unfriend, or stop following. It's not a thing... what's the big deal?

Not sure about this group specifically, but in general the FB DVC groups I’ve been in are full of misinformation & some became downright nasty in 2016 when the new restrictions were put in place. Lots of resale bashing & entitled owners.

Some popular ones are also owned by resale/rental companies. I come to the Dis when I need factual, useful DVC info & left most of the FB groups in 2016.
