does anybody rent cars to 21 year olds?

we are going to wdw and the beach this summer and are thinking of renting 2 cars, does anybody know if any of agencies rent cars under age 25 and if there is an additional charge?

I don't recall who it is that rents to under 25's, but I do recall that there is a 25% surcharge.

Also check the rental rules and policies before committing to anything, just to be sure what kind of insurance or waivers they require and how much these cost.

Some companies require young drivers to buy additional coverages that amount to much more than a 25% surcharge.

L&M rents to drivers under 25. They are an in-terminal car rental agency. Their web site advertises that they have the best rates for under 25 drivers. I used L&M for our trip this past February - got a great rate and had no problems. But I'm not an under 25 driver, so I can't support their claim re rates from personal experience. Good Luck!

I know Alamo and Enterprise rent to drivers under age 25 for an additional fee. I know that they often want you to take on extra liability insurance....but if the driver has their own car with their own insurance policy there may be ways around that.

... you are on a corporate account. I would check with the young person's employer; even if he/she does not regularly travel for business, they may be able to get a frequent renter card on the corporate account. Most companies waive the over-25 rule for corporate cardholders.

Hotwire asks for your DOB and will include the 21-25 surcharge. You might give them a shot.
skeezixspud is right, many of the corporate discount plans allow employee to use the rate for leisure travel and waives the under age surcharge.
Otherwise shop, at one point Enterprise had the best rates for 21-25.
