Does anybody have this Stride Rite shoe?

I am looking at buying this sneaker/sandal for DS3 for our upcoming trip. Just wondering if anybody has it for their child and likes/dislikes it?? I love how the toe is covered, but it still likes like a sandal.

That looks like a great shoe! I've been searching for a covered toe sandal for my DD (15 months) forEVER!! Wish I could find something like this. Good luck with it!

No, but I saw those too and I LOVE them.... I really want a pair for my DS's.... but I have already bought too many shoes.... I already have 2 pairs of Disney crocs that are TOO big....and I can't send them back because DH threw everything away.... GRRRR

I don't have this pair, but I did buy my DD6 a pair of StrideRite sandals for our WDW trip last year. She hated them! Luckily, I had also packed a pair of cheap Wal-Mart sandals that she wore everyday & never complained in. The reason she said she didn't like her StrideRite's is b/c the sole of them was ridged & it felt too 'bumpy' on her foot & hurt. I can't see the insides of the ones you are looking at, but it may be something to consider. I don't think they were really painful, it was just the different texture that bothered her.

My DS4 had last year's version of this shoe. It gave him horrible blisters on his heal when he wore them without socks. I got them because they seemed like they would support his foot better than the cheaper ones. We were very disappointed and he ended up with sandals from Target that he loved.

and have only had trouble with one pair hurting DDs feet, and she is 8. I would get them and wear them around the house for a day or 2 and try them out.

Anyway, check out shoebuy.com. They have them cheaper, free s/h (return too if you don't like them) and there is always a $10 coupon out there (just google shoebuy coupon). For the above poster they have them in infant sizes too.

I buy all my kids shoes from shoebuy (they have XW feet and they are hard to find locally) and they have great service.
