Does anybody have a family member who HATED WDW?

Hehe. . .someone on here posted earlier how going to WDW couldn've been a dealbreaker. . .HEY! What a good idea! The Disney Test for prospective spouses!! :D

I took my mother to WDW and she hated it. I was there to make sure that we did things right but she still hated everything. It was too expensive, too crowded, too childish, too big, and so on. She only enjoyed World Showcase in spite of my best efforts.

DH isn't a big fan but he tolerates it well and will go occasionally. How did I find two people like this?

Come to think of it, when I got my parents to come for a week at AKL in '01, they didn't enjoy it either. The hotel was too dark and all of WDW was too difficult for someone newly handicapped. I only got them to one park...AK...and then only for LK and ITTBAB. :(

Hmmm, now I'm wondering how *my* mom would take it? I would love to take her for a week at WDW. She was a widow and raising me and my brother alone, yet she made sure we had nice vacations, including two visits to WDW. I would love to to the same for her!

At least they have the motorized scooters now--would probably make it much easier!
