Does All of AK open for early entry?

Does anyone know if all of Animal Kingdom opens for early entry? Our friends are going next week and have to visit AK on Sat. She has asked me what I think about them going to another area at rope drop-instead of following the large MASS to the Safaris. Personally, I was thinking it would be better to go right to Dinoland instead and get a FP for the Safaris a little later. Would this work?

Straight from the WDW web site regarding what is open for EMH AM - not much.

Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park
Mornings:
Discovery Island™ Trails (AM only), It's Tough to be a Bug!®, Kilimanjaro Safaris**, Pangani Forest Exploration Trail® (AM only)

While I know it seems like there are masses heading to the Safaris, in terms of Disney crowds it's really pretty sparse. I think it really is your best bet to go to Safaris first.
