Our flights are down $5, only three of us so $15 credit, but that almost pays for a bag....... I was going to call, but wanted to be sure if they went down again, if I could call back???

I've called twice so far. The first time I got a $10 a ticket credit and the second time it was a $12 a ticket credit. I'm up to $66!!

We are flying AirTran when we go down in November. What are you referring to when you talk about calling for credit? And how do you know your flight price went down? Sorry if this was mentioned elsewhere

I just got $168.00 back yesterday :cool1:That will pay for advance seating, luggage and partial payment for the next flight.

If the price of your flight drops lower than what you paid, you can call AT & get the difference put on your account as a credit (not a cash refund). You can use this account credit towards seat selection, baggage fees, or future tickets. The only way to know if your fare dropped is to check it every day.

Thank you so much! I just checked checked and our flight to MCO actually went up. So no credit yet...

HOLY COW! After seeing this thread, I checked our flights we have for December. They went down $504.00! Yes, that's right, $504.00. The agent said it's because of a sale going on that ends today.

Does anyone know if Disney will refund the cost if a flight goes down?

I just checked airtran's site and my flight has gone down significantly so I called them and they said they don't own the reservation and I'd have to call Disney and see if they'd honor a price decrease (Holy run on sentence batman!!) Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for posting this! I booked my flights yesterday and today they are down by $4. Only $16 total savings but I'll take it :)

You can also use yapta .com to receive alerts for when your flight is reduced in price; I have my alerts set to a $10 minimum which is why I didn't get an email. (thanks again DizniDi for this tip!) :thumbsup2

Edited because I can't do math!

Will they give you a credit if one way went down in price but your return flight went up or only if your total price went down?
Thanks

:cool1: thanks for this information, I checked our reservation and it is now $57 less for the three of us...great to use towards bag fees...

Wow! I'm jealous.

Thanks

They did for me. My flight to MCO had gone up a lot, but the flight home had dropped $12 and they gave me the credit!

Ive called 5 times, i am up to 186.00 credit, which will pay for 4 bags both ways, so happy, cause it was cheaper to do non-stop from phl to mco on air tran and better times than sw. even if I had to pay for the bags :) we are going in oct, and also snagged free dining plan, so excited!!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

Question: can you just check the price online or do you have to call to see if there's a fare drop?

I'm a little confused... I called them this morning to change my flight and get the credit. The first person told me it would be a $75 fee to reduce our flights by $16 (which makes no sense). So I hung up and called again. The 2nd person said she could change the price and would issue the $16 difference to my credit card. That's fine, although I thought it would be to my A+ account and I would use it towards baggage fees.

I just checked my credit card statement online and I see there are two pending charges for the old flight amount (I booked 7/18). No pending for the refund though (yet; maybe it will show up later?) :confused3
