Does Airtran charge a gate-check fee for strollers

We want to take 2 umbrella strollers with us to Disney. I don't think the kids will need one most of the time, but want to have them just in case.

Do you know if Airtran will charge us to check the strollers at the gate when we board the plane? I don't want to have to check them with baggage and pay 2 additional baggage fees.

We were not charged anything and we gate checked 3 strollers.

No, they do not charge for gate checking a stroller. I emailed them and asked.
