Does admission to 24-hour day count as 5/21 regardless of when enter?

[ignore title - typo in date; meant to write 5/22]

We arrive in Orlando on the evening of 5/22. Originally planned to go to SWW early morning 5/23 but now thinking of possibly getting up early and going to MK for last few hours of the 24-hour day. Wondering whether an entry at 3am on 5/23 will be same day as my 8am entry to DHS on 5/23, or whether MK admission will be considered 5/22 (thus charged an extra day) even if I don't enter until 5/23. Anyone know?

A "Disney Day" begins at park opening and ends when the park closes. Because DHS opens after MK closes, it would be two ticket entitlements to enter the two parks that day.

What counts is when did the park first open for its operating day - in this case it's 6 AM May 22. Even though you want to go to the MK after midnight it is still part of the May 22 operating day.

I was there last year. They were clever to have a goodbye ceremony in front of the train station at 5:45am. And out you go......

If you do the 24 Hour Party and then go to DHS on Saturday, yes it will count as 2 tickets. Depending on how many days are on your tickets ... it very well could be worth the extra ticket.

I think Cheshire Figment once said "Disney Days" are actually (overlapping?) 36 hour days for CM's logging hours for OT pay.

Disney Day in terms of a ticket entitlement is park open to park close.

A CM's OT pay calculation doesn't affect a guest's ticket entitlements.

True, I was just furthering the notion that Disney defines it's own units of time that seem to contradict the way the world operates.
