Doctors speak out about H1N1 VACCINE DANGERS

The government said the last Swine Flu vaccine was safe, too.....oh-but then they pulled it, remember? So, we're suppose to believe everything the government says, until they change thier mind?

Also, do you have any idea how dangerous mercury is? The government, medical field, schools, businesses, etc...etc.. have very strict rules and regulations on mercury, and it's disposal. Why do you think pregnanty people are warned to stay away from eating tuna and other fish that contain high mercury levels? It causes birth defects in fetuses. It is more dangerous than lead.

If you want this injected into you and your family, that's your choice; I don't, and thHealth Effects

Why? Because until it's been demonstrated that 100% of people that take 5,000 units of Vitamin D a day never get sick... than it can't be said to be true. You can say it "might" be true, you can say "you believe" it's true, but you can't say that it IS true. The proof falls on the person making the claim.

Also, recall what I said "Anecdotes aren't data". You can't say "Well I took X, and Y happened... therefore the medical claim is true!"

Some people who smoke never get lung cancer, either. Does that mean it is safe? You need 100 percent of people to get sick to believe something is bad? Really? Okaay.

its nice to see others not getting the shot. I choose not to and am getting greif from everyone about it.

Don't ever let anyone try to make you feel bad or guilty for not getting it. It doesn't mean they are right and you are wrong. For every person who claims it is safe, there is also someone (including MD's, nurses, etc..) who believes it is not. Do what you feel comfortable with.

I sorta worreied about the government possibly not telling us all but then i saw that President Obama had both his daughters vaccinated against H1N1 last week.

You are fighting a losing battle, "geoff".. Most folks are using their common sense and heeding the advice of doctors and NOT getting shot up.

Why do you care so much about whether or not people are getting the shot? I think enough people are getting the shots to sustain the pharm industry so there is no real threat to your job, at least due to revenue, not so sure how you have enough time to do your job with all the disboarding you do.

I like to keep my vaccination decisions to myself if I can, though I did let it slip yesterday to one mom that I do not vaccinate. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me. It is a personal private decision in my opinion and you don't have to share it with anyone if you don't want. I find changing the subject works nicely.

Show me proof that the vaccine works. Not rhetoric or "clinical trials" that are held by the pharm company who made the stuff. Actual independent study, please.

Thank you! I couldn't have said it better!

You are SO not alone! More people are NOT getting the shot than are. Don't let they hype by the media fool you. They are really pushing this shot. They have a shortage now, but soon the market will be glutted with doses and no one will want it when it slowly comes out that there have been serious side effects.

its nice to see others not getting the shot. I choose not to and am getting greif from everyone about it.

I know many who are taking the advice of their Dr. and getting the shot when it is available.

I watched the youtube link to the doctor interviewed on fox news..he gave an answer about not getting the shot...then the interviewer said well I talked to three other doctors about this issue, they all said get the shot, you are the only one to say not to. :confused3

So my question is, why is the doctor saying not to get it, the one that is right? This is a serious question for the OP.

I have yet to run across anyone whose doc is NOT recommending the shot, except for some people who are posting about it here. I also don't know anyone IRL who isn't planning on getting it when its available.

we have all had it and everyday people are lined up around the health dept to get it so I guess a lot of people feel like that should...I do not care who does not get it that just means when my dd3 goes back at the end of the week for 2nd dose they will have some! If you get the mist you will not get mercury ...the mist is thermasol free.I think a lot of peole will think twice in a month when it spreads more and they can not find tamiflu anywhere.

If you want actual research on vitamin D and virus prevention, just google, Harvard Medical school, and childrens hospital boston, they have both done research studies on this very subject.
i don't have time to get the articles for you right now, but if you can't find it i can post later.
its very promising research being done right now on vitamin d

Most doctors do not want to speak out because they will get backlash and they probably just don't want the headache. They are also following what the CDC recommends, even if privately they are against it. My sister is a nurse and she knows many doctors and nurses who are not getting it. They are using allowable exemptions to decline the shot (seasonal flu shot, swine flu shot is not available yet).

If you do a a little research you will find several doctors who are not afraid to speak out against the flu vax, both seasonal and h1n1. They tried to make it mandatory in NY and the health care workers were up in arms. They rescinded the mandate.

I'm sorry but you have no business making these claims and speaking for most doctor's in this country, unless you personally know each and every one of them.

BTW one of the reasons healthcare workers were up in arms was because their choice was being taken away. I noticed you left that out ;)

Let me rephrase: The doctors who I know personally (people in my family are in the medical field) who are against the shot do not speak out because of the potential headache involved.

I find it interesting that everyone can find someone in authority and statistics to back up their particular stand on anything. There are those who feel that vaccinations are the best thing since sliced bread, with many doctors backing that up. But....there are also those that say vaccinations are merely a money maker for some companies and are dangerous to us, and they find officials to back them up.

The same with any kind of study...and that's where I put the whole Vit. D issue. It's a good idea to take some daily supplements...maybe even a bit more of the water soluble vitamins. But, it's also good to remember that some vitamins are just not good for you in huges doses. They stay in your body for long periods of time and can become toxic...too much of a good thing.

I get a seasonal flu shot each year. But, that's only since I turned 50...I have had flu before, as well as pnemonia..don't want either one again. Will I get my dd, 16, an H1N1 shot??? I don't know yet. She is in good heath, I have told her to wash her hands during the day at school. I would almost rather she build up some imunities on her own...much better than a vaccine.
But....some vaccines are truly wonderful. Can you imagine if we hadn't had the polio vaccine???

You really need to do your homework. You need to weigh issues on their own merit, keeping in mind that some people have ulterior motives for saying what they say. I truly don't believe that vaccinations cause autism, but others have a different opinion. And that's their right. You have to look at both sides of an issue. Too many people are making sweeping generalizations out there. Take the whole Guardasil issue...my dd hasn't had a shot yet, and probably won't. My choice, but her pedi is on me every visit about getting the shot for her. But, I've researched it and don't think it's all that big a deal. But, it is a big deal for the pharmaceutical company that puts it out there.
