Do you wear your shoes in the house?

I hate wearing shoes in the house. I take them off as soon as I get home.

My in-laws wear their shoes from the time they get dressed in the morning until bedtime.

Besides tracking in dirt, I like my feet to be free!

What is your personal preference?

I voted bare feet as that is what I prefer when it is warm enough. I am in warm slippers right now though (we keep it chilly in our house).

Barefoot 99% of the time inside the house, unless my feet are very cold, in which case slippers are in order for only long enough to warm them back up.

I answered bare feet, because mostly that is it, but we have tile floors and they get cold in the winter, so then it is socks or slippers. I HATE shoes and sometimes, I even slip them off at work!

My entire first floor is tile, because my house is so low to sea level. With the air con blasting, the floor gets ice cold! I usually wear socks or slippers, and every now and then I'll go barefoot.

I would love to wear slippers but I get foot pain so I wear my sneakers all day until I go to bed. I don't understand how my kids can go barefoot in the winter on hardwood floors, I would be freezing

We thought this until we bought a lighter colored carpet for our Den and found that too many people showed no common sense. If you are in someone else's home and they have a light colored carpet or flooring, remove your shoes. After only 6 months, we changed the stained carpet and started the "no shoes" policy. It has worked well for us, and our company keeps coming back, so they must not be too offended.

bare feet all the time. I hate the feel of socks on my feet..I will only wear them if I am going to be in the cold for a long amount of time. I only wear slippers when I go into the basement and that is more because if there is a bug down there I need something on my feet so I can step on it.

If I go to someone's house I take my slippers. I hate wearing shoes. I am another that will take them off at work. Cracked one of my managers up the first time he noticed my bare feet under the desk.
