Oh, the weather outside is frightful...

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...

No swimming today! This is our backyard and the pool we put in this past August. I think it will be awhile before we see it again.

Front porch and walkway AFTER I shoveled twice. I finally gave up. The snow won.

Well, it finally stopped snowing around 4pm. Final tally- over a foot of snow
ANOTHER UPDATE- These pictures were taken last Friday, the 9th. Guess what? It looks exactly the same this Friday morning, the 16th!
HAHAHAHAHA! More snow, another snow day! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!

No desire to be in Maine for winter! I would like to go in summer, though. Maybe this summer. Thinking of the Bar Harbor area.

The snow sure is beautiful, though. We got a little during the night--just enough to close schools and be sloppy, but not enough to really sled.

I really miss the snow!!! I loved it when I lived in Germany and seeing the snow all winter long. I keep telling DH that we are going to have to retire up north because I can never get enough of snow!

LOL, my husband just went on a trip to Maine to deliver furniature, LOL hope he has fun!!!! Its a very pretty scenery though

What part of Maine? My Brother lives in Belgrade Lakes.

Now I know what he is getting.

We are in Southern coastal Maine. The pictures were taken about three hours ago, and it's still snowing. I refuse to do any more shoveling. I'm leaving the rest for my husband to use the snowblower on when he gets home from work.

The good thing about living up here though is that once the snow stops it never takes long for the crews to get out and clear the roads. We could get a foot or more of snow and still be out on the roads soon afterwards.
