Do you usually get a new autograph book each visit or add to the old one??

On my upcoming trip (MOVE TIME MOVE) I was wondering about my daughters (okay my) autograph book. Last year I went to this place and got her a really cute Mini autograph book for like $4 or $5 (Visiting Center gift shop next to Don Pablo's). Last year was our first time using autograph book and we only got a few autographs (Sleeping Beauty, Prince Charming, Mulan, The whole Alladin Gang, Chip/Dale, Minnie/Mickey, but that's about it. We didn't get any of the Pooh family, we didn't get Cinderella, Beauty or Beast, we only found the monkey from Lion King, so lets just say we have plenty of autographs to go. Should I get a new book or continue with the one I already have? I have plenty of pages in it. If I get a new one I will go back to that same place.

Oh, do they have Disney's cartoon people like, Kim Possible or The Proud Family characters in the parks?

We were there in Nov. and my 2 girls started a brand new book. WE got one character sig. per each page. On the other side of the page, we included (after they were developed) a picture of the child with the character. It is so cute! After the project was done, we added a page in the middle to say ---March 2004. We just got back, we got autographs of the characters they had not gotten in NOv. --and a few repeats--in the same autograph book. Now that book is finished!!! What we do next time is up in the air. The best part of this was when we went back in March---the characters would look through the book with the girls and would comment on it. They loved the interaction. The evil queen was "upset" that we had gotten Mickey's picture and autograph in nov. but not hers!

Your preference, but we use the same book. We got a lot of signatures, but still have plenty of room. We're goint to denote a page for the particular trip so it will act as a seperator. That way not to waste it!

We buy a new book for each trip. Ryan like to compare the books to see who's autograph he got on which trip etc.

We get a new autograph book each time. We write the month & year on the front page.
It is great seeing whose autograph we got in each trip

We will be getting a new one for this coming trip also.

New one for each trip. They are my dd's favorite thing to look back on. In fact, we just bought one from the Dis Shop. Dd is thrilled with it!!

We buy a new one for ea trip. In the cover we always write our dd's name, where we are staying for how long. If we were to use the same book, the inside cover wouldn't look to good after a couple of trips ;) . The above info will come in handy if you or your child happens to misplace the book - been there, done that!

This year, we might have to buy 2 books. Ds will be 3.5 yrs old and I am debating if I want him to have a book too.

We get a new book each trip - we make sure the characters each sign their own page & then I use their autographs in my scrapbooks next to our pictures with the characters. :)

I just let them use the same ones. That way they look for characters they didn't get to meet on the last visit.:earsgirl: :earsgirl:

We used the same ones, we put the date at the top of each page...

:( now DD11 feels she has enough signatues and is too old to do anymore.

We have to get a new one each time. This is due to ds ocd stuff. Must have clean pages, must sign the page he picks etc. Gee I was hoping he would give it up this time. Well the next trip he will be 13. Hopefully he will not want to do it anymore. He was kinda of getting into pressed pennys. Good no waits. I feel the characters meals are my only sanity to waiting in character lines. We all took turns waiting in close lines, couting 10 people in front of us etc. That was a great timesaver. But then when the characters go in, it gets frustrating. It took big chunks o time out of the touring plan. But is the ds vacation too and I want them to have as much magic as possible. So when he is happy, I am happy.

We get both kids new books each time. Yes, about half of the book does get wasted at times, but I like each book to be a memory of each trip.

I will just add to my already started Scrapbook. I used 4x6 pieces of card stock for Charcters to sign.

We buy a new book every time. When we get home, I rip the pages out to put in the scrapbook next to that character's picture. Since you have so many pages left in your current, book, I would simply write the date of the next trip after the last existing signature and continue on...at least you'll save a couple of bucks! ::yes::

We too get a new one. That said, I wanted to post a tip - make sure that you fill out the front of the book and write your child's name there.... a couple of the characters purposely on the sly looked there first - then proceeded to either use DD's name in conversation and/or sign the autograph "To: Madison" - which really made her day. This was especially true with her Lilo autograph!

I use the same book except for character meals when I use paper or tags to make it easier to scrapbook-

Im now on my 2nd book and Ive been collecting autographs for almost 5 years (okay so I hate getting repeats in the book so it slows it down now...)

I got my DD a new book for this year's trip. I also put a picture of her with the character on the opposite page so she could see who signed. It really does make for a great memory of the trip. Since I put her name on the inside cover of the book, she got several personalized ones "To Haley".
