Do You Use Unsolicited Free Stuff?

I have been getting mailing labels from a lot of charities from Unicef to Diabetes Asso. Do you use those items even if you do not donate money? I do. I hate filling out return addresses and they come in handy. Knowing they are in the envelope at least makes me open the envelope instead of tossing it sight unseen.

Of course. Tossing them out would be wasteful and if an organization wants to send them to me hoping that I'll donate money, I'm assuming they've done their research and figured out that most people will donate. Otherwise they would have stopped this practice. But if I didn't order them, I'm under no obligation to pay for them and throwing them away wouldn't benefit the organization in any way.

But most of them have my husband's name (which we have gobs of) or Mrs (his last name) with our address, and my MIL doesn't live here, so I don't tend to use those. A few have my first name and either my hyphenated last name or my married last name and I do use those.

Usually toss it all in the trash - I hate clutter.

Heck yeah. We get them too and one orginization (forget what it was called..had something to do with horses)even sent us matching note paper to go with the labels once.
We used the note paper for grocery lists though, since we don't write a lot of letters.
