Do you use Ooma phone service and like it? Can you make 800 calls?

I've been doing some researching on cutting the cord on our TV and home landline. Ooma seems to get very good reviews for their phone service. If you have it, do you have any issues with it and can you make 1-800 calls?

Thanks, Linda

We've had Ooma for years and never had an issue calling 800 numbers or any other numbers.
It's a great way to keep a house phone for very little money.
It is not usable when the power goes out but we have our cell phones for those occasions.

We've had Ooma for over three years now, and love it! What is best is that our number of robocalls and spam calls went way down after getting Ooma.

We did have our base unit die after two years and had to replace it.

No problems dialing any numbers.

Best part about getting the Ooma is the number of junk calls dried up to almost zero. The old traditional phone service was almost useless as you would get dozens of junk phone calls every day. You almost couldn't answer the phone prior to election day.

There is no differentiation between local and long distance calls with Ooma. They are all free.
