Do you tip again with a limo?

Hi,

I have booked a round trip in a limo with FL Tours to and from Sanford airport. They have included a 20% tip in the price, do i tip the driver again? on both journeys? Us Brits are not used to tipping too much!!

If a 20% tip is already included, I personally don't tip more unless the driver provides exceptional service.

Are you sure the tip is included? I've used FL Tours a few times and the tip was never included.

Almost all of the limo companies that I have gotten quotes from included a tip. The only exception that I know of is Golden Limo. This is for a limosine and not a towncar (If I remember correctly, towncar and van service does not include the tip).

When I spoke to Andy at FL Tours, he said that a 20% tip would be added to the total. If you go to their website and get a rate request for a limo you will see a note at the top of the 2nd page stating that the 20% will be added to the total fare. Hope this helps.

A round trip from Sanford to POFQ with FL Tours will cost $320 + 20% (tip will automatically be added) Will the driver definately recieve the tip if it is added to the bill or should we tip again?

Thanks, Dory. I just went back and read your original post also. We always book a towncar and not a limo, that's why I did not think the 20% had been added.

I just used them in June for a tranfer from WDW to Universal. For their longer trips, Sanford - WDW or Canavarel - WDW, they include a 20% tip in the price. For the local runs, incluing to/from MCO they do not.

My policy would be, if you just go from point A to Point B, eith no extra stops or special things, then if tip is included, that's it. If the driver makes a side trip for you or does something extraordinary like sticking around for an extremely late flight, then I'd though a few extra $$ his way.

I don't know about a WDW to Universal run but to/from WDW and MCO they do add a 20% tip. It is on their website and confirmed when I called Fl Tours.
