Wondering with the dollar being the pits if we will see more deals for Canadians to get us to head down to Disney/Universal. I know that I've gotten a few e-mails from Universal offering Canadian only deals. I also got a Canadian only free dinning starting in the middle of August. I know Disney has done this before but I know they didn't have it two years ago when we went as the dollar was just below par. Do that many Canadians go to make a difference to Disney? On the other hand the Euro isn't very good either so are there less Europeans coming as well? Think the British Pound is better so they still might be ok. So with the American economy being good are there enough Americans to fill the gap left by Canadians and Europeans who are putting off coming? Would deep discounts make a difference? Does Disney give deep discounts or is the best we get is free dinning and usual 20%, 25% and 30% off rooms? We are planning to go in two years but if the dollar is still bad (and I hope that is not the case) it will take us another year to save enough to make up the difference especially if we are look at 30 or 40 per cent difference.
