Do you think this is for real? Making money filling out surveys?

I ran across this site, it was also advertised in the paper.

Do you think it is legit? Has anyone ever done surveys for money?

I am a SAHM looking for income. I plan on trying substitute teaching when school starts. In the meantime I will be sending out resumes until then.

The fact you have to pay in order to participate, leads me to think it's a scam. I know it's only $5.95, but if 1000 people send that money in, that's just about $6,000. If you're really considering doing this, I would definitely contact the Better Business Bureau first.

I do surverys for Pinecone and I don't pay them ANYTHING! They pay me 5.00 per survey.

That is what I thought. Something too good to be true is probably a scam!

I wish that I could get paid to do surveys at home. I wouldn't trust that company.

NO DONT DO IT!

There are tons of legit sites out there:

These are just a few I have used and gotten paid from

ACOP (I think its american consumer panel)

Gozing
Penn Schoen and Berland
Atitudes across America
PC
Buzzback


There may be more, thats all I can think of off the top of my head.
SOme checks run about $5 (see the other poster), and some have gone as long as $10.

I've also gotten a $75 Amazon GC as well for a survey.
