Do You Think Our Waitlist Will Come Thru?

We have two 2-bedrooms at BWV reserved in October. For one of the rooms we are waitlisted for our first nite. For the other, we are waitlisted for the first two nites.

For anyone who has waitlisted during a slower time like October, do you think we have a good chance of getting the nites we need? Or should I start to think about alternatives, like studios?

It depends on what the rooms are. If they are standard view or Boardwalk view that will be more difficult. If they are preferred view rooms you stand a really good chance of getting them.

I would still have a back up plan in place whether it be at the BWV or at another DVC resort.

FYI: October is not a slow time for BCV or BWV. Both of these resorts are popular because they are within stumbling... err, WALKING distance of the Food & Wine Festival. The F&W is being extended by two weeks this year, so it will last for all of October and the first two weeks of November.

With that said, you probably have a decent chance of your WL coming through. I agree with HBC though... if it was me, I'd make sure that I had a backup reservation somewhere else just in case. Good luck!
